this was the same issues with ps4 with headset integration. Microsoft is also aware of the adapter issues across the board and is working on it as well. From Skype, go into Tools -> Options -> Audio Settings and make sure the microphone is selected instead of the digital input. You need to change it to the RealTex internal microphone. The program automatically selects the DIGITAL input.

Quite a few posts on the asto headset forums about it. I managed to get the mic working in Skype running Windows 7 RC 64 bit on my Mac Book Pro. some people are having issues mostly with in game chatt but non on skype,and such. other culprits may influence the proper functioning of the video chat platform and you may end up dealing with Skype not working on. Its all in the details my head setted friends. Xbox One Adapter game and chat volume the same?
